Friday the 13th is a floor-length dress cut from heavy black cotton rib. The rib is visible, deep and matte. It's fitted through the body, then falls into a slight flare at the hem, so it moves when you walk and pools softly at the floor. The weight of the fabric is the point: it holds the body without clinging, and it drapes rather than hangs.

Each sleeve is open along the outer arm and joined by thirteen silver rings, 3 cm each, with skin showing between them. The sleeves are made extra long and reach past the wrist over the hand.

A clean crew neckline, a single seam down the back and nothing else. No zips, no buttons, nothing to distract from the line.

Fit: Full stretch. True to size. If you're between sizes, take your usual size for a close fit or size up for a softer drape.

Fabric: 100% cotton, heavy rib, full stretch.
Care: Hand wash cold, inside out. Do not tumble dry. Dry flat, because heavy rib stretches if hung wet. Do not iron over the rings.
