A floor-length black velvet dress with a soft half-height turtleneck: high enough to feel composed, low enough to breathe. It slips on with no zips, no buttons, nothing to fasten. The stretch velvet moves with you and holds its shape.
A single seam runs the full length of the back, like a line drawn from the neck to the floor. The long sleeves are close-fitting, firm and neat to the wrist, while the skirt falls in a slight flare to the hem. It follows the body where it should and lets go where it shouldn't.
Wear it with heels for the evening. Wear it with cowboy boots and a leather jacket for everything else.

- Care: Hand wash cold, inside out. Do not wring or tumble dry. Dry flat. Do not iron; steam lightly from the inside to lift the pile.

I never liked waiting for an occasion to wear what I want. So I made a dress for the one occasion that happens every day: life.
It slips on, nothing to fasten, nothing to fight with. I wear it with cowboy boots and a leather jacket as often as with heels, and it keeps its silhouette either way.
I don't have much of a waist myself, so I cut it with a slight flare. It keeps the curves where they belong and lets everything else move. Smooth, easy, made for the city.
